Did you get an all aluminum engine or is that one of the other UZ engines?

Hey man. That is a bad a** 4 runner. Makes me wish I still had my 99. So after all is finished, did you spend the $15,000? Honestly? I am just curious cus I am in Colorado and am working on building a 94 single cab truck, which is why I got rid of my 4 runner. I have regreted it ever since. I would like addicted offroad to do the SAS as I already have a soldi front out of an 85 I am slowly building, and currently my 22re is being re-built. I am just curious as to how much you spent in completing the SAS, and the rig total, if you don't mind me asking. Keep up the good work, wish I had you skills.

Wow. Amazing flex. I'm curious how much it cost too. Totally worth it though.

Thanks. What made you choose it over the 2UZ. I see you are not easy on your rig. How long and how well is your 1UZ holding up to abuse?

Researching my swap options. Can't decide between thé two yet. Not a lot of info on 2UZ swaps either.

expense, weight and availability. my 1uz has drank water 3 times, i redline it, over heated it cause one of my fans quit. and i literally bounce redline all day long, jump it, rally it, crawl it smash into things ect. i wheel the piss out of it take it home gets no love at all and it just waits for the next rally. 1uz IMO IS the way to go, infact i just picked up a super clean 85 runner that im about to start a build on here for it to. it will be 1uz powered

Should I look for any particular year of that engine? Anything to watch for while in looking?

Do you rebuild them before the transplant or just throw one in you pull from a wrecker?

What average price can you score one?

How is gas mileage compared to the 3VZE?

Thanks buddy.
