1996 Tacoma PNW Build.

Hey everyone I am new member to the forum, but I have been viewing it for a while now. I live in Washington State and have had a couple Toyotas in my day. After finished my Race car build I decided that I need a truck again so I picked up this 1996 Toyota Tacoma with a 3rz-fe. (5 Speed)

Pretty much bone stock even down to the radio. Needs new tires pretty bad. 184k miles on it. I plan on getting the head machine or finding a place where I can buy a head and send them my current one as a core (Suggestions would be great if anyone has them). Also I am not into the whole chrome thing so I have to do something about the grill and bumpers.

Anyways here is the start of my build updates to come. Here is a picture of my race car..

Nothing wrong with that. What do you plan on doing to your rig?

New tires is first on the list, tow package in the rear, do something about all the chrome. Tint the windows. Lift it up to but not exceeding 3 inches. I need a front bumped with a trailer receiver and a winch so I can pull cars on the trailer without breaking my back pushing.

Engnbldr for your head maybe. They might just do 22-re heads. I'd have to check. But it's engnbldr.com

Okay, I should have checked before I commented obviously. From what I see on the site, they only have assembled heads for the 22-re but have parts for the 3vz. But those are both pre-96 and obviously no help to you.
