Work in progress.

Not finished yet, not the best pics either but you guys get the idea.
It's all 4mm sheetmetal. The winch bracket is 5 mm and seperate from the bumper for easy mounting and theft prevention.
I used two Hella Comet's for aux lighting and a set of rectangular VW black turn signals.
I still need to fabricate some small pieces and after that I'll have it zinc plated and powder coated. Black offcourse since I'm allmost got ride of the chrome package.

Looks great! Do you have a sheetmetal brake to assist with the bendin of the steel? Or is it all pieced and welded together?

Nice bumper, now you need to copy my rear bumper for a total package.....

BTW these would look awesome as turn signals; http://www.vehiclelight.com/searamledli.html I will eventually install them in my rig......

I learned from my first bumper so this time I first made a mockup from cartonboard.
I measured the bending angle and outer dimensions. Than I made a drawing and had most pieces cut and bended at my local steel supplier.
I overside the dimensions so I could slowly start to cut it smaller so any mistakes could be corrected.
The pipes are the remains of a new LC80 brushguard which I altered slightly.
So far the materials cost me about 200$, 30$ for the turn signals and 100$ a new set of Hella Comet's. The brushguard was for free.
The coating will probably cost me 300$. All in all not to bad I guess.
