Wood Dash Kit

Good people - has anyone used a Real Wood Dash Kit? I am considering the following: http://www.wooddash.com/category/TOY...h_Kits_4RUNNER

I am thinking about getting the Medium Burlwood (Real Wood, not Synthetic) for my 2001 4Runner. Mine came with leather so I want a little added touch of class.

Looking for comments and advice. Can anyone comment between the real wood and synthetic from experience? Thanks.

Welcome to the board. I sell both synthetic and real wood dash kits. The quality of my kits can't beat and I stand behind them 100%. A lot of companies use cheaper materials and don't back up their claims.

Feel free to check out my site: www.burtmanindustries.com

If you would like pricing, and more details, etc. shoot me an email from below.

Jason,

I checked out your website. Nice pictures.

Are your kits made by a different manufacturer than all the others or do you also have the same 16 piece kit?

Can you match the price of $282 including shipping and tax to Illinois for the Medium Burlwood (real wood) as www.WoodDash.com?

thanks

It's a completely different kit. My kit is around 20 pieces for your '01.

Please email me with your email address and I will send you more information.

There's nobody better to buy from than Jason Burtman... his kits are significantly better than any of the other kits on the market. Not to mention the customer service.... you know exactly who you're dealing with when you order from Jason.

just thought i'd throw my $.07 in there (inflation...)

LowPro, if you want to get one, definitely go w/ Jason. His kits are awesome. My dad ordered one for his Trooper and it looks sweet. Real nice look and the quality is far and few between. You will definitely be impressed with the quality and the service that Jason provides is awesome. So if you want one, which I feel helps the look, go with Jason! :fireman:

If you get a wood kit, get Jason's. His kits are TOP quality and fit extremely well. I had one in my 91 4Runner and it still looked brand new over 2 years later when I sold my Runner.

Thanks to all that replied. I will consider all options and buy in a few weeks. I just bought & received the roof rack along with vent visors. That along with an oil change, wax and car wash stuff, tire rotation and a trunk net added up to about $500 this month.

The wife is sympathetic about it, but when you get right down to it, none is necessary except for the oil change and tire rotation.

Having said that, I will let you guys know when/if it is all ready and up with before and after pictures.

My fear is that the dash will look cheasy, fake, even though I would get the real wood.

For those that got a wood dash kit (even synthetic), did anyone get into your car and notice, or even have a hint, that it is an add-on?

Again, thanks to all.

i just installed a black burl dash kit which i ordered from JASON B. and i would recommend his kits to anyone interested in a dash kit. my 96 sr5 came with a kit from the factory; however, my mom left the sunroof open one night and it poured down raining. i had to replace the kit, so i ordered from Jason. his kit, IMHO, is better than the stock toyota kit and it is much cheaper. just thought i'd share my .02.

I know this post is old, but was hoping to get some feedback as you've had this kit installed for a looooooong time. You still around?
