Wicked vibration! HELP

So I have a 02 4Runner and I installed a tranny cooler last week and a bubuilt skid system this week and now when sitting at a light a get this vibrations, wtf. Initially I though maybe I was pinching the tranny cooler lines with the skid but there isnt much flattening of the hoses where they run btw the frame and the skid. My second though is maybe I didnt install the skids right but those pretty straight foward, I did just read that I need a low pro drain plug but Im not certain Im going to check right now,any thoughs would help.

The sound is metal on metal? Could be that drain plug hitting the new skid plate.

Well its a shake not so much like loose ˟˟˟˟ more like you were trying to wrestle an outboard. In the event its the drain plug Im taking a hole saw to the skid plate. Ok going to look now for sure.

Nothing bad unless you just can't stand the vibes. When I got my bellypan done it scared the crap out of me the first time I drove it because of the vibes but once I figured it out, I got used to it real quick.

It's purely a personal issue you have with this vibration - not a mechanical one.

If I drove a trophy truck I would expect as much but I don't. I'll remove the tcase skid which seems to be causing the issues at least as far as I can tell.

Ok so no problem after the removal, no vibration what so ever! Solved my own problem. I did upgrade the hardware to grade8 hex heads. The plates look indestructible.

Hey I'm glad I'm 3 days behind you installing the BB's!

Where did you get grade 8 metric hardware?

what did you end up doing with the gnome and the squirrel? I have had issues with them around here too. you should see the line of squirrles at the phsyco-ologist down the street from me.

Mine's no Trophy Truck by any means. I've still got a milllon clams to go before my truck gets that status.

I purchased the grade 8 from Tractor Supply, and as far as install, they arrived 3pm Thur. I primed and painted, then let it cure a bit no clear coat like a real jackaroo, showed up at the office 545am was done by 715. Then removed the belly plate that evening to remove the tcase stock skid. Had to have it done prior to the rover rally.
