A few years back I was in Colorado and went on a rock climbing excursion with a friend of mine. Not my thing at all and by the time we got back his truck looked like it went through a meat grinder but he loves it and that's what counts.
I like the mud trails in the mountains, swamps, mud holes and where the river beds are the road for miles. Getting stuck and winching each other out . The roads we use are all old coal mining and logging roads and we have the permission of the company that owns them (but sadly, not for long) They are leasing the land to hunting clubs.
Anyway, what is your favorite off road thing? Never been to Baha( ? spelling) but I hear that's a real trip! Makes me wish I lived in southern Cal. Mike

 

Yeah, mine is Baja, but, not so much for off-roading, but for camping and surfing. The whole adventure packed into one is something that is most excellent

 

Any ORV park really... I have yet to make it to MOAB but I have a feeling that would be my #1... I like a mixture of adventure/technical stuff. After seeing what the whole country has to offer there is way too much out there to stay in one place.

 

I like a little dirt and some technical stuff, but only so long as I have company to spot me or pull me out if I get stuck.

when I'm out on my own, I like just taking the dirt roads... again, a little dirt, and just going places on seldom used routes, for the view, and I've always got my camera with me.

 

Mud, dirt, technical stuff. I hate rock crawling and dont care for fast pre runner kinda stuff.
