I say cut those shock boots on the front shocks. :o

and my do those axles look purdy.

I don't remember what you did for a rear lift...it all just depends. Yeah, lose the shock boots, those are just dirt/grime/water holders.

What did you put in the rear for lift?

I was thinking about doing my junk in flat black. Yours looks friggin awsome! I'm definetly going to do mine.

Give me some details on how you did it. What brand paint, how much, what prepwork, did you do it outside, bla bla.

i used the stuff from orchard, just flat black..i did it outside, taped up all the windows and lights and than painted away... no prep work since it doesnt have a clear coat...the surface was rough already.... give it a good bath with dishwashing detergent.... u can also thank waslskywabbit since hes the one who told me how he did his!

So assuming you put in new leafs, shackles and possibly even moved the hangers...I have AP stuff in the rear, moved the rear shackles like they suggested and I sag by about 1"...but I have a LOT of extra weight back there. So I'm going to add a longer shackle to compensate, probably 7 or 8" bolt hole to bolt hole, going to let things settle some more w/ the spare tire on there.

Paint your 4Runner

Since you live in San Jose why not go to Home Depot and purchase some rattle cans in the colors you like and find you a talented tagger to do the work for you. I'll bet it would be interesting.
