Why not take it to the art department at school and have them have a go at it? Or the local VoTech? They should have an auto paint department that can 'experiment' on your ride, if you are OK with that, that is....

how about semigloss black? The rustoleum industrial (big silver can) semi gloss is a really nice looking paint.

lol why repaint perfect paint with no flaws?

if you want not such a bling look, run it through some mud and let the mud sit. then take it out and run through some brush!

flat balck OR flat dark gray OR flat battleship gray.
Personally I love flat paint/ primer. It never get old and did I mention I love it.

Tape of everything. There is nothing worse than a bad paint job. Paint or windpow seals irks me almost as the work irk, irks my wife

Don't paint a rig for primer as the top coat, as primer takes on moisture and will rust your paint. Now if it is just primer colored that is a different story.

I am kinda partial to flat black.

BUT the best part is if I decide I want it a different color next year, it costs me $30 to repaint it and a couple hours.

I think you should have left it red - the paint was still good and it looked fine that way.

What...maybe 5 or 6" bolt hole to bolt hole? You'll need one probably more like 7-9" bolt hole to bolt hole...RB makes them custom to reuse the bolts ya got. Get one that is braced in the middle. Measure about how much more lift you need...say 1"...then you need theoretically a 2" longer shackle, unless you are going to move your rear shackle hangers (again). In other words, the shackle length needs to be twice the amount of lift you need so the butt don't sag...don't feel bad, mine does it too, just not as much since I took off the heavy top. One of my next things to get done...

Your looks good and is coming along nicely!
