Corey's web site has a lot of nice and fairly cheap mods on it.

Corey's Mod Page

Other than that, just keep your eyes open on this site, it's got lots of info.

What kind of mods do you mean? Cosmetic., performance, off-road etc?

As someone said Corey's site has a wealth of info on it, my site also has details of a few mods I have done.

Okay first off Ultimate 4WD for cheap is total oxymoron if I've ever heard one. To make your rig truely trail capable your going to have to sink some cash into it especially if you want to do it right and maintain it as a daily driver. If you just want a trail rig cut the fenders off, slap some 35's under it. Weld your diffs solid go out destroy it and then spend $$$$ rebuilding it right this time. As far as finding mods and ideas just do some reading on this board. My rig started out stock 2 years ago.. I found ODW then became a faithful member here when Corey built it. I now have over 75 mods to my truck! I'd say I wouldn't have done about 80% of them had I not learned how to on this site.

what i was asking is whats the best mods for a standard truck to turn into a off roader on the cheap.not for rock crawling just playing in the bush. also not girl mods of dash customing as i would buy a sports car for that....and yes corey has a nice truck but if we all copyed that whats the point of customizing to be origanil.

mods

start out with extending your diff breathers, add some manual hubs,a cheap lift would be new coils and turn up your torsion bars...after that you won't be able to stop!!!

"Turning" the Torsion bars or "Cranking" them will give you some more height.

If you care about dents, get some armor first, like sliders and a rear bumper. Besides that, do what everybody else said. Later, you can add a locker, front bumper and a winch.

ah...my trucks stoke it has 31by 10.5 with 15 on it it sits high but in this country 4runners and surfs never go into 4wd.And they all look the same(boring)I have made changes on the cheap to give it a tough look.

The landcruiser is the more popular choice of rig for 4wd,And as my trucks not worth much although its in great condition, ill keep it and make it a tough truckI want to have it for the purpose of going off road not shopping in it
