Anyone noticed weak heating in their 3rd gen?

I recently had 120k Lexus service with new belts, water pump, O2 sensor, etc and was told this would help, yet Im still freezing in the Appalachian Mtns!

Ideas?

 

Mine is great for toasting marshmallows, if I set it on 'high'.
Check your coolant level. Sometimes, if it gets too low, it can't reach the heater core. Which leaves you very chilly. Could also be a blocked heater core.

Del, how did you make out with your heat issue?

 

I am having some trouble with my 3rd gen too (varies greatly with outside temps).
May be that the heater core needs a good cleaning (my guess).
I checked all the duct gates and they are sealing correctly.
It is not a water pump issue I am quite sure.
If I find more I will post.

Anyone else have this problem?

PS also clean your blower motor while you are in there.

 

Since heating threads are more relevant now I will send this thread BTT too.
Doesn't seem anyone has solved this issue yet.
