So after writing on the gas sheet for a while, I am getting about 20MPG on the highway, and 17MPG city. I thought it would be alot better. The most amount of km on a tank was 515km, filled with 61.84 Liters. I am running a 99 4runner with the deckplate mod, true flow air filter, and a Airraid M.I.T. The vehical is fully synthetic.

Could be just me but , no all gas is the same, I notice I get almost 20MPG cityusing high quality gas ( Chevron) compared to discount stations , I get 17MPG city.
During a 400 mile highway trip I got almost 25MPG with the A/C on!

Last six tanks were with two canoes on top and strong crosswinds. So much for maintaining my typical ~19mpg.

I don't keep strict numbers all the time but here are my numbers:
Pure Highway 21-22mpg when driving 65-70
Mixed 18-19mpg
Pure City 16

A few times I have gotten 400 miles out of 17 gallons of gas. My daily driving is 2/3 highway 1/3 city and I get 250-275 miles out of 3/4 tank of gas. My rig is a '00 4wd auto v6 with trd headers, trd exhaust, and deckplate w/ Amsoil filter. My roommate has a '01 2wd auto v6 and has never gotten even 300 miles on a tankful. Go figure.

I just had my cat replaced and I replaced the AF & O2 sensors. I am paying attention to the mpg to see if this makes any difference.

I am about to stun you all....

I went to Jersey back in the winter...

Pouring rain....

Had to go about 250 miles into NYC and back again.....

I still look for the gas station I got my gas from....

Cause on that trip and that trip alone.....

I got close to 500 miles on my tank....

It was all highway...

I was doing about 50 MPH cause the rain was so bad and I was just getting use to Rear Wheel Drive in the rain...

Since then I cry when I get gas....

Currently I average about 17-18 highway

And 15-16 city....

I need to get all the fluids changed again I think....

And I need to get a new air Filter too....

That K&N worked well untill it got dirty....

I got the recharge kit....

But after that it just plain ate at my gas.....

God I wish I could find that one gas station again....

500 Miles.....

Wow.....

If I was thinking I was actually gonna make this mileage before I went on the Trip I would have taken pictures...
Now I barely make 250 (is so looking for the reason why....I really think the gas around here has jsut gone for &^%)

My gas has been terrible lately. I am going to try cleaning my MAF sensor and see if that helps. On a side note, I was showing my grandpa how my deckplate mod worked, and I accidently left the plate in. I totaly forgot how gutless the 4runner was and how much of a difference that plate makes. At first I was wondering why the throttle was so sluggish, untill i realized the plate was in.

I actually get around 260-280 on a nearly full tank...I think if I pushed it a little bit I could probably hit 300 as I fill up before the "gas" light lights up...but I have a 5spd and my commute is half downhill half uphill everyday and also most of the time i shift at like 2,000 rpm - 2,500 rpm...i rarely go over that....i dunno why but thats just when i shift...

I get about 14 mpg driving half city and half highway. I tried using premium gas and got about a 10% increase. This is with the deckplate and Airaid Jr. mods.
