Why in the world would you try to save a few bucks on non-Toyota parts?

.
Because the Aisin water pump from rockauto and YES on e-Bay IS the original Toyota part. Identical because Aisin makes it for Toyota (same goes for fan clutch and fake water pump aka fan bracket). You will see when you take the old one out. Why in the world would you want to collect expensive red cardboard boxes? Eltonīs kit also contains the EXACT SAME Koyo tensioner idler and Toyota tensioner as Toyota put in in the factory. The upper idler original (at least on mine) was NSK, which you can also find after-market.

Take a look at this pic just posted by Samster0077 on T4R--he followed my advice over there and is very happy. You canīt see the Aisin logo on the original because of the way heīs holding it, but itīs there. The part is a fan bracket, but the same goes for WPīs.

I should have been hyper-specific and written "OEM parts."

I've bought AISIN parts before (like the fan clutch). I assumed the knowledge base here was at a level where I didn't need to explain that.

Get a Toyota OEM from www.toyotapartsales.com (Toyota of Dallas). It's only $98 there, plus shipping.

Given the placement of your post--where it looks like criticism of an Aisin after-market purchase, and the wide variation in the knowledge base here (which is the point of a forum), yes, you did need to be that specific. Some people could have taken that as a warning to only purchase 'Toyota' parts. Sorry, but I thought it helpful to correct any such misunderstanding. I spend a lot of time on here and T4R helping people, and I assure you, not everyone understands this.

X2, lifetime replacement is not very comforting on a part that will leave you stranded AND takes many hours of labor to get to and replace.

My Aisin bracket just arrived from Rock Auto today. Sure enough it is OEM quality, sweet! You are the man, thanks for posting this. I would have never of guessed that you could buy an Aisin through Rock Auto. I am going to attempt to take apart my old bracket and see if I can source another KOYO bearing. Being a machinist by trade I might end up making some fixturing for the press work if required. I think a lot of the more thorough folks would be glad to include this bearing replacement as part of the typical timing belt/water pump/oil seals and drive belts maintenance procedure.

Did anyone replace the Crankshaft bolt as well while doing this? Also who recommends replacing the idler pulleys as well as the tensioner? I have 95,000 Miles on a 3.4L.

The crankshaft bolt is listed as a non-reusable part in the FSM. It's torque is specified at 217 ft-lbs.

Yes, I do idler pulleys and tensioner. In fact, search for the kits by AirCabinMan on eBay and he sells a kit for about $355-365 with all Toyota parts. Order the crankbolt from the local dealer and get too work.

You talking about the bolt? I did mine recently when I did a motor swap and reused the bolt. I've read of others doing the same thing. Some people say if you reuse it, to put some threadlock or something similar on it. Apparently it only costs like 5 bucks, so if you're going to be back in there and taking it off again, just get another.

bolt

If it's $5, Id replace it but have heard of people always reusing them and use red loctite. Bolts like rod bolts or torque converter / driveplate bolts are flagged as non reusable, just the FSM, like the OP pointed out.
