warranty work

Is Toyota supposed to give a loner car to you if your ride needs to stay for a couple of days? I want to have two things looked at but need a car.

My dealership said that if they need to keep the car for more than 1 day, I can get a loaner car.

Sounds good. My passenger window whines when it is lowered & the tranny sometimes just dosen't want to leave second gear. This is why I bought it new, right? For the warranty! Thanks for the replys everyone.

My dealer is pretty good. They always offer me a loaner, even if the job will not take more than one day.

The last time, they gave me one of those Prius, gas-electric hybrid things. I would never own one, but it was pretty cool. It's got a touch screen right in the middle of the dash that shows all the systems working. I would crash into something while I watched the electrical system charge. Just in case anyone asks...No they are not at all fast.

I just happen to be a service advisor at a Toyota Dealership. I give loaner cars out like candy. "And will you be needing alternate transportation today?". But we may be unique, we have close to 100 rental cars available, of all flavors. Shouldnt be a problem, at worst just pitch a bit of a fit for a brief moment.

What gets me is that every dealership has hundreds, if not thousands of cars on the lot that are just fine for me to borrow!
