Tuff Stuff is the SHIZNET!!
I gotta tell you, I was skeptical at first. I am now firmly in the Tuff Stuff camp. My wife dumped half a mocha on the carpet in the Runner 3 weeks ago and blotted it up (which she never told me about BTW
. Well, the milk in the mocha had a nice funk if the last few days. So I was washing the rig today (60*!!), and found the source of the funk. After removing the passenger seat and using bleech on the carpet pad, I used Tuff Stuff on the carpet. Got rid of all the stains and the stank.
Anyone on the fence eabout this stuff, go get it. Best product out there for auto interior cleaning. Works great on plastic trim panels too!

Yep, see page III of my detailing section.
I use it once a month on my whole interior to clean the vinyl and plastic.
It's the best stuff I have come across for maintaining the interior.

I've been using it for over two years. It's great. It even cleaned up my friends puke after a long night of drinking.

on my passenger floor
As everyone has been saying, "Go get it". It will be well worth it.

I was at Pep Boys today and reloaded with Tuff Stuff. I also got the Tuff Stuff spot remover. It has a brush built in into the sprayer. I used an entire can on the 4R yesterday. I'm interested to see how it smells when it gets good and hot outside. I hope the "funk" doesn't return...

Talk about coincidence, I bought a bottle about a month ago with the intent to use it. Since I had to work this weekend
(I had a wheeling trip planned with some bro’s) I decided to go ahead and give the Runner a good shampooing this weekend. All I can say is WOW! I had a few stains in the cargo mat from rusty sheet metal (SKIDS!!!) and a three year old coffee drop stain on the passenger side carpet.
All clean, smells good and looks new. Besides that, I can say that I found Tuff Stuff here!

Cebby,
If that smell still isn't gone, try using some Febreeze. It works great on smells. I know people that smoke in their cars and you can't even smell it.
Also, I was wondering how you liked that grille guard and the lights. I'm looking for a setup just like it.

I've never used Febreze. Sounds like that stuff really works.
Regarding the grille guard, I'm kind of divided on the Smittybilt stuff. I like the design and scale of the tubing used, but the rust resistance isn't so good. Granted, I've had mine for a good 5 or 6 years so that means 5 or 6 Pittsburgh winters with alot of road salt. They make it in stainless now, plus I've heard their finish is better. Mine was the textured finish which they quit offering at some point, so I wasn't the only one with a problem obviously. I'd look at Manik also.
The PIAA lights on the other hand I've been completely satisfied with. I have the 520 Ion Fogs. I had a set of 959's that I sold to Hokiez97 that didn't fit the Smittybilt guard and now the 520's. Both sets are great lights. My 520 housings started to rust and my 4x4 shop replaced the houosings for free.
Good luck!

a detaillers trick to get crushed carpet or "faded" carpet back to it's original unmatted factory look is misting the carpets with Armour-All. IMO I prefer the smell over most other air fresheners (i can also attest to Febreeze, i have been using it on used vehicles with that old nasty cigarette stank that just won't go away or pet odours as well). Most of todays carpets are made from plastics and polymers so the Armour-All gives it that deep, luxurious look and feel as well as a pleasant odour and the colors really vibrant.
When you vacuum the interior use a brush attachment rather than the hard end of the hose or other attachment. It crushes the fibres and eliminates it's "bounce", leaving you with that matted look.
Just try not and get any overspray on your peddles. It can get a bit slippery.
