Trekmaster and OME 880/906

I want to put on the OME 880/906 coil springs but because money is tight would not like to get the OME comfort shocks. Can anyone tell me if the Tokico Trekmasters will work with these coils? And if so, should I use the 4runner ones GU3535 front and GE 3536 rear or GU3535 front and the DC Tacoma ones for the rear which are GU3564? If anyone is running this set-up what is your feedback on it?
All help appreciated.

"Not recommended for use with OME coils."

Are they too soft/too short, etc? I trust your judgement on this but just want to know why?
I should probably bite the bullet and get the coils with OME shocks which I will probably do.

This set up from sonoransteel will provide about 1.5" of lift on your 2001 4runner. They come with 1999 coils and the trekmasters. Look at my sig. I have the 1999 coils on my 1999 4runner. I still have the oringinal shocks and those are 265/75 tires. When I need new shocks I plan to get the trekmasters.

I think the 4runners use GU3535 in front and GE3536 in rear

I have a '99 with the tall coils. I installed Trekmasters. Mostly I like them, but if you are going down a bumpy road, unloaded, your rear-end will spend a lot of time in the air.

As it turns out, due to the wonderful 4runner community, I will be able to go with some new/some used OME parts in a price range that suits me right now. It is really wanted the full OME setup anyway. Gotta luv the forums and community.
