Question TRD boost gauge accuracy / calibration????

I just installed my boost gauge this weekend and it is only showing 5.5 - 6 lbs of boost at WOT. I was under the impression that the S/C should put out in the 7-8 lbs range. But I noticed that when I turn off my engine it reads "-1". I was wondering if the means that everthing will read 1 under where it should?? Because that puts me closer to the correct range. Any way, is there a way to recalibrate this thing??

Or is my charger (1st gen gray) not putting out the proper pressure...

I had the same issue and called TRD. 6psi is the max so you are good to go.

mine goes to 7-8psi...what are you using for the boost source for the gauge? I'm t-ing off the port right off the sc that goes to the fpr.

That's the same port I'm using.

Does anyone else's read -1 when the engine is turned off??

I'm just wondering that since its at -1 when the engine is off, if that means its reading 1lb less than it should aka 6 = 7. I'm just glad to hear that others are only reading 6lbs.

Good question. Mine sat at zero when I bought it and it would only go to 6 lbs. So I assume its still accurate..
