Transfer Case ?
Will the transfer case from a tacoma 5spd bolt on the a 98 runner auto? If I swap the 2wd output shaft to a 4wd shaft, will I be able to use this transfer case.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this or even considering it. Most just swap out the entire A340E (2wd trans) for the A340F w/ t-case.

This is if you're considering the 4wd conversion
