Yep you heard right....

My stinkin transmission went again on Wed. (of last week). Went to go to the dr. office and on the way I stopped at a light. I was at a complete stop and it felt like someone hit me from the rear... I look in my rearview mirror and the car that is behind me is like 50 feet away. Ok, that was kinda wierd. So the light turns green and I get ready to accelerate and my rpm's go up but I super slow. I turned into the dr. office and shut it off. Go in call my pops and tell him what is going on. He says to call him after I get out of the dr. and let him know how it is acting. So I get out to the truck and all be darned if I don't have ANY reverse. So I am poop outta luck. Had to have it towed to the mechanic that fixed it the first time (it is still under warrenty thanks goodness but the warrenty doesn't cover towing, bummer but ok). I called him Friday to see if they even looked at it and he said they had the tranny pulled and might have it done by Monday (today), no calls today though. So maybe tommorrow. I am just so bummed that this seems to keep happening to me. Any suggestions as to why? I don't take her offroad, and I drive her like she is made outta glass, BUT I do obey the speed limit and go the manditory 5 miles over.

On a lighter note: I got the starter replaced (it went a couple weeks ago). And the weekend before my tranny went we changed the spark plugs, sp wires, air filter, oil filter, and changed over to synthetic oil. Oh and also get her a new airfreshener.

 

It's like divorce, the chance of it happening again increases every time it happens.
