Tranny Leak HELP

History: changed to AMS OIL 75/90 gear oil 2 months ago. After extending shifters.

Well, today after changing spark plugs and oil change, I noticed a fresh drop of fluid on the transfer case skid plate. tried to follow the slick up, looked real wet.

I removed the center console to take a look at the shifter mount area. there was alot of build up. I cleaned the top of the tranny real good semed more on the tranfer case side.

Anyway, took for ride looking for spillage from top area really didn't see any. got home noticed fresh drop again.

My next thought was to clean the whole tranny area real good and isolate the leak 90K on truck.

I know synthetic will find a problem in gaskests.

Does this sound famillar to anyone?

Whats worst and best scenario??

Thanks

What about replacing the transmission pan gasket? Was it leaking around there, or more on top of the tranny?

The Leak

It seemed to be coming from the top.

I still need to Isolate it

Going to spray some engine gunk this morning clean the area real good.

Is the pan a commen place for it to leak how hard to fix myself?

Thanks
