Hello All.

I have 99 runner and I am getting a mechanical whine when the clutch is out. It sounds like it is coming from the tranny. I have dropped it off at the dealership and they tell me that the tranny needs new bearings. The truck has 72K on it. I have owned it for about 9K miles. What other work should I have them do while the tranny is down. I told them to do the clutch. The clutch will only cost me parts. I also asked them to do the rear main seal. Just curious.

Btw bearing work is under warranty.

I imagine that the dealer will resurface the flywheel, but you might want to mention that to them just in case.
