Does anyone get the electronic buzzing sound when shifting into reverse. This always happen when the car is cold, usually i let it warm up and shift into reverse and this electronic buzzing sound occurs than i shift into drive and its gone.

 

all trannys buzz in reverse if you go fast enough. more than others..
nothing electronic

 

Humm or buzz??

The only vehicle I have ever had that actually makes an electronic buzzing sound like he describes is my 92 Dodge B250 Van..

 

my 98 runner does the same thing! i've been meaning to ask the same question...the buzz only lasts for a split second but it has spawned curiosity in my mind...know what it is???
