toyota bed question

Is it possible to replace one side of a toyota bed, or do you just have to replace the whole thing? sure would make life a lot simpler.

Im assuming you can just replace a bed side...You can on most trucks. Call the stealership and c if they show independent bed sides.

Yes you can. I know that you can get fiberglass bedsides from fabtech and other places (I read that fabtech fiberglass is rebadged and can be bought cheaper from the source, but don't know who that is).

Also, the yotayard in denver sells bedsides. The hard part is that toyota bed sides are welded to the rest of the bed, making alot of work needed to remove them and install new ones.

Whats wrong with your current bed?

When I wrapped the rear quarter of my bed around a tree trunk I took my pickup to the body shop, and they told me that I had to choose from a new bedside or the repair of my old one. I opted to have the old one repaired since it would have meant that my Herculiner would have been ground off to get to the bolts that have to be removed to replace the bedside. I am happy with the work that the shop did, but unhappy that my Herculiner is wearing out. Guess that it won't matter anymore once I have my flatbed!

I was playing on an old dirt road that I have been down a thousand times, I started to slide tward some trees and was able to stop but when I tried to back up I was still sliding and ended up against a tree( the cause of the dent in the bed). then it all went down hill and ended up, well you seen the pics.
