that looks really nice. i wish i could tint my windows like that, but the cops in my town ticket people for anything. my brother had tint on his '85 GTI back in the day and got pulled over going to prom, the cop made him get out of the car in the rain wearing his tux and pull the tint off the windows while his date sat there watching, in the middle of the street of course. so, i barely breathe when i see the cops because i don't want a citation for using too much air or something.

that's one stealthy 4runner you have!

Guess I'm fortunate where I live...granted my windows are not tinted that dark, but I have had my entire front windshield tinted for 2yrs now and have had zero issues w/ the law.

I did 35% on top tof the factory tint and it's not too dark, kind wish i did 20 over in the rear but it still looks good.

AZ is pretty lax about window tint. Most of the cop cars have 35% in the front and 20% around the back from what i can see.

i have 20% all around and its more than dark enough. It functions well and it provides privacy at night when needed. It also keeps my truck cooler in summer.

My stays cooler in summer because of my tinted windows and the fact that I have vent visors so I can roll the window down without worrying about people reaching in.

This is funny becasue I just noticed that you live in San Luis. I live in Atascadero. City cops don't really care, but you will get pulled over by CHP if they see you and you will get a ticket. I just got a fix it ticket in my car and had to pull it off. My buddy got a fix it ticket as well. Two of my friends are in the CHP acadamy right now and they said pretty much all CHP officers hate tinted front windows and will pull you over. You have to understand that most CHP working at san luis came from a big city with gang trouble. Sucks though because I miss my tint on my car. Now as far as my trail rig, I ripped the tint that came with it off because I can't see while wheeling.

If you get pulled over just make sure your windows down by the time the cop approaches and they probably will never sya a thing; It's all about making the officer feel safe as comes to your car. At night I even turn my dome light on and have my window down.

Not sure about that roll window down after stop thing cop might think you are getting ready to plug him...lol... just make sure he can see you hands afterwards... you could always go for a lighter legal tint on the fronts...
and cop cars in AZ with tint on the fronts? how are they suposed to see down a dark alley at night?

around here the only cops with tinted windows are the K9 unit [for doggy comfort], the ETF (SWAT) and the bomb squad. oh and the CSI vans...

I meant have your window down long before he even gets out of his car and have your license and registration ready and both hands on the wheel.

I go a step further and roll my back window all the way down as soon as I'm being pulled over.
