Question Those with headers...

...how did you get them so cheap? I did an extensive search in here about this topic and found that you guys are getting them for around 400-500. I haven't been quoted any less then $610 from PerformanceCenter.com and that does not include the factory pipe conector. Downey was $789.41 with a three week lead time and NWOR was $793.50 for the header and y-pipe, but they had them in stock. Wherer the heck did you guys get them that had them so cheap?

supply and demand my friend, I bought mine 3 1/2 yrs ago from a Toyota dealer in SoCal for ....oh man i wanna say it was less than 300 back then. Normally I wouldn't dream of buying aftermarket stuff from a dealer but they moved em boy. Couldn't pass it up.

I looked around on a few boards and found a used set for $300. Then I had to pay a shop $250 to make a cross over pipe and and weld everything together. I had to buy a few extra tools and a few meals. So mine cost me under $600 all tallied.
