Are Tacoma & 4Runner Seats & Cab Different?

The difference is in the mount and how it was attached. Whatever was causing your "RADICAL" virbration my guess is it wasn't properly affixed to the windshield, or a knob on the mount was loose (or the car needed a balance ). The angle of the windshield doesn't cause more virbration, the windshield angles between the two models are so close I would say any difference (if there is one) is neglegible compared to suspension differences.

It was the same GPS and mount - I sold it to my friend; everything was tight and nothing had been adjusted from the Tacoma.

As you know the 4runner has a cadillac ride compared to the Tacoma due to the rear coil springs; and the tires and suspension on both trucks were new and the same components - so if its not the windshield angle, I am not sure how a smoother ride could cause more vibration, but I'm listening.

First, how about providing video of the mount in each of the two vehicles at the same speed on the same road surface...

The angle where the wind shield intersects the hood.
