swaping seats

i got a friend who has a 98 taco like mine but his has bucket seats and mine has the 60/40 seats in it and he was wanting to trade and from what i see they should bolt right up but im not sure what do you guys think?

60/40 seats where, up front? i didn't know they made tacos like that... (assuming you have an ex cab like in your avatar)

did they ever make tacos with a bench up front? if not, im not seeing where these 60/40 seats would go...i thought they were all bucket-type?

nope i have a 1998 ext cab toyota tacoma trd sr5 and i have a 60/40 split seat with out a console,in the front and those fold downs in the rear,

wow, i never knew those existed, thats kinda cool. is your shifter on the column then or what? do you have any pics showing the seat setup? im just curious

thats pretty cool, i didnt know they had those. is there a middle seat belt? is it annoying not having a console/cup holders there? sorry to hijack your thread

um i cant say its annoying becouse ive never had anything else to compare it to, but there is not a lot of storage so thats why i want to trade

On my 01 the floor bolt holes where different. Not sure how the 98 is but check all 4 (per seat) bolt holes.
