Stereo Mount Brackets

I'm new to this forum and just had my pickup broken into, and they got my receiver. Does anyone have a set of factory stereo mount brackets? They bolt to the sides of the receiver and then bolt to the metal brackets behind the dash. If someone has a picture of them ,it would make it a little easier to build. Can't find any in the wrecking yards around here.

Sorry, but I didn't even see this thread for some reason, or I would have at least asked what year/kind of pickup you needed a picture for and possibly have taken one for ya.

Better late than never man, but: Welcome to YotaTech!

Wish I coulda been more helpful, earlier.

Missed it too!

I never saw this one either. I try to read everything and respond to what I can help on. If you come back, tell us the year of pickup. I am changing the head unit in my 93 4Runner within the next week. I plan to take pics when I do it...if you have the patience to wait for me I can take pics of the brackets specifically.

I appreciate both of your responses. But I got it put back together with a little trial and error fabrication of the brackets. Worked out fairly well. At least they didn't get my changer.

Cover Plate

Your cover plate looks good. From what I can see, they must have really butchered your dash. Do you have a "before" pic (after rip-off, before plate fab). I have a morbid sense of curiousity.

If you want a replacement dash piece I can get one

theres a junkyard near me that has a few grey interiors that would fit if you want a new stock piece. they run about $10
