Some ?'s about maintenance.

Hey all,

I have a 2002 4-Runner 4x4 Limited Edition. I have 52k on the clock and she's running great. Just would like to get some feedback on some maintenance that will need to be done eventually.

1. R+R front rotors/pads.....is doing the job different on a 4x4?

2. 60k or 90k for replacing the timing belt? Should I replace the water pump as well?

3. Best spark-plugs to use?

4. Best coolant to use and how often should I replace the hoses? ( I live in AZ.)

5. Best online sites to buy Toyota parts?

Thanks in advance for all your help and advice!

trdparts4u is the best place to get parts on line, Strap22 (phil) is on here, and works there, he'll help you out...

other than that, someone with a newer truck is gonna have to help you out.

Thanks AxleIke for the bump........
1.) Easy to do on this one.
2.) I still change at 60k and a water pump is cheap insurance and easy change when you are this far into it.
3.) Nippon Denso....Factory Plugs
4.) Toyota Red Only
5.)you can place orders and make inquires to:info@trdparts4u.com

Ditto except I go 90k on the t-belt (most new belts will go 100k no problem) and water pump is debateable as well.
......non interference engine so no worries about damage on t-belt.

I guess I am just old school but have seen just as many shot at 60k as 90k. So I guess its just personal preference. You can always keep the old one for a spare if it's still in good shape.IHMO
