I need to know all places you can get the Seafoam into. I know oil/gas.
But I need to know what vacuum lines would get the stuff to where it needs to go. Is it just the brake boost and PCV?
I am doing this on a Buick, so it's all new to me under there. I need to know where I can and can't put the stuff just in case I can't find one choice. This was the first time I looked under that hood in a few years. I checked the air filter and id had probably ¼ inch of soot on top of the pleats.

 

Any source that hooks up right after the throttle body. The Brake booster would be the easiest one to spot as long as it feeds all the cylinder you should be good.

Just did the third treatment, but it didn't stall after I put in ½ can so I stopped. The only time it stalled was when I would put my finger over the brake vacuum line as it sounded like it would stall.
This stuff + changing the air filter seems to have brought back tons of power on this Buick. It didn't smoke bad, just looked soome cars you would start on a cold day.
1 can in the gas
¾ in the oil
1¼ in the intake

 

Dude, that's a lot for the intake!

 

It was over the course of three applications.

 

The best way i would do it. Is let it injest it. When done suckin, turn off car and go back to it like in couple hrs are even overnight than start the car and gas it.

I was reading a post on a (I think) Honda forum and it said to use it on the front and find a hose on the rear of the engine because it doesn't get to all the cylinders equally. I guess you can use left/right for transverse mounted engines. I have to look for it and see what you guys think bout it. Kinda makes sense, the liquid will fall into the front cylinders first and not really get to the back.

 

Seven treatments total so far. Not much smoke anymore. Less than one minute of very light smoke.

The last 4 treatments were,

#4. Let it sit for 7 hours
5. Let sit for 1 hour
6. Poured Seafoam in and drove right away
7. Let sit 20 minutes.
