S N O W!!!

I love my 4runner. DC is getting absolutely dumped on right now, just went out to run a few errands and was just plowing through it. Towed a guy out, took my honey out for some sleding, picked up some Black and Tan Ingredients and movies. Feel like I'm 18 again. Except for the beer.

And this summer I'll be convertible. Sorry young runners.

There are 1st gen 4Runners, therefore there is a God, and he must be Japanese.

Hallelujah!! Domo Arigato!!

I had to take my wife over to her office to do some paperwork. It's alot more fun driving around in the snow with my "new" used 4Runner. I would have gotten stuck with the Acura Integra.

Yeah, down here we are supposed to get up to 20 as well. All this snow and I am out of my 4Runner for 2 weeks. This sucks! Luckily I have my brother's car which is front wheel drive, which is ok, but not as good as 4 wheel drive! :fireman:

yeah you all got snow (lucky @#$!$%&@), I got ICE! There isn't any snow but there is ice everywhere. atleast an inch of solid ice on my back porch. I took out the garbage and the lid to my garbage can was basically an ice cube. I hope we get some snow too, then on with the fun.

Unhappy I WANT SNOW TOO!

You east-coasters are lucky! I wish we had snow up here in the northwest. Instead, we have sunshine! They say that it's the second warmest winter in history up here. El Nino year i guess. The mountains are in terrible shape... total bummer. Plus, it's always fun to play in the snow with my 4Runner, which I can't cause theres no SNOW! Oh well, consider yourselfs lucky. Pray For Snow! Peace.

I ventured out about and hour ago. DEEP in Southern MD. It was really hard to tell where the road was and I think I drove through part of my nieghbor's front yard...

I had to run up in a drift to let a fire truck by and was able to get out with my ARB locker and had to pull a Chev out that did the same thing.

I am looking out my window as I type this wondering how the hell I am going to shovel that 800 foot driveway of mine. Since I have a bad case of the flu I might just skip all that shovel stuff.

I got at least 10" in my driveway and it looks like it is picking up speed. I guess by morning I will have to climb out my upstairs window.

It looks like I will have to do a little bit of shoveling after all. My Doberman will not go outside to do her business unless I shovel her some grass to use.

They are calling for 12-15 inches to start falling later tonight. I am excited, but it is going to kill business at my store tomorrow. I was kind of counting on Monday's Presidents day sale to insure a bonus this month. It doesn't look too good. The good news is that I am out at 4:00pm, to go drive around in the snow. I will be on the search for un-plowed parking lots to do big drifty donuts.

I am looking out my window as I type this wondering how the hell I am going to shovel that 800 foot driveway of mine
Time to get a snow blower Gadget... Shovels are nasty old things that belong in museums. I will be spending my Monday night "snow blowing" mine and my father's driveway.

10"+ east of York as of 7:00 and I figure we'll have 24+ by tomorrow evening. Though with the blizzard conditions, it'll be hard to tell WHAT the actual depth is. I know I'll be using the snowblower tomorrow morning and again when its' all done.

I was out when it was about only 4-5" and the other idiots on the road must have been having a contest... who could drive the worst.

Anyone carry extra weight in the rear and, if so, how much?

Flakes should be flying here any time now. Expecting 12-24". WooWoo. I'm off tomorrow anyhow for Prez day but will make a few runs out to the parents to help shovel. Not a problem with the RUNNER!

This kind of thing always chaps my ass everytime I hear it. I have the type of job where I must always make it to work on time everytime no matter what, no excuses. I have always made it into work. I have not missed a day of work due to illness, injury, weather or any other reason in 18 years. I plan ahead and make sure I have a vehicle that will get me there.

These doctors, nurses and so on all make more money then I do, but always seem to feel it is someone elses responcibility to get them to work while they run around and bad mouth SUV owners the rest of the year.

Now that is all I have to say about that...
