rear window switch

I just farmered the "tailgate closed" detector relay on my '85 since there was enough wear in the assembly that it could no longer detect that the tailgate was actually closed. I drilled out the post on the relay and added a tiny screw to make the post longer so when it rode on the cam shaped lock mechanism it would activate the relay and allow the window to be rolled up and down by the switch again.
What mine really needs is to have the whole latch assembly on that side replaced, or alternately, run a bead of weld down the end of the worn lock assembly so the lock mechanism will rotate more and the relay will ride up the lobe higher.
I'll leave that for the next guy though since I'm going to be selling it

Also check to make sure that the window lock switch is not turned on preventing the rear window switch from functioning.
