sizzle fo' shizzle,

i believe the dcabs only come in auto. someone correct me if im wrong.

pete:

personally i would never buy a vehicle that i could not personally test drive.

fyi: shipping a vehicle across the country is around $750 to $800 (cheap range). but again, this would be a moot point for me b/c i wouldnt buy a car that i didn't drive/inspect.

sorry to put a damper on your find.

bob

I was actually wondering if there was anyone in MD that could help a brutha out
I doubt I'd go for it - for the same reasons

Looks ok to me.

After you take into consideration either transporting or driving it across the country, it may not make it that great of a deal IMO...

Doesn't seem all that special to me if it goes over 16 or 17K. Just my opinion.

There is absolutely no reason to buy a truck "all the way across the freaking country". Find one close by. There are better places to buy a car than E-bay.

Yes, the D-cabs only come in Auto.

Keep looking Peter! That will cost you $1K to get and bring home (more if the fuel prices keep going up)

I agree.

I looked for 2 years before I found an All Trac that was close (I was willing to drive 500 miles) but I found one 50 miles away.

Just be patient, and you will find "the one" sooner or later!

Dunno...
I've got my eye on one in AZ but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it until things settle at work and I find a new place to live.

So many things to deal with

Just keeping my options open

Thanks dude!
Actually, the closer I get to getting things cleared up at work and my home situation figured out I may take a flight out there and take a look at this thing.
I may take you up on the offer

Unhappy

I recieved a vehicle I bought on ebay just last friday. Lets just say that the vehicle was no where near the condition the seller stated. I have spent over 30 hours working on a resolution to this problem. It has been a most unpleasant experience that I would wish on no one. Sadly, it has just begun and I don't know where it will end. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE YOU HAVE NOT CHECKED OUT YOURSELF OR A TRUSTED FRIEND. This is especially true if the seller does not have extensive positive feedback selling vehicles. I wish someone had told me that 2 weeks ago.

Nice truck.. mileage and price is reasonable but best if you look for one locally.

That keeps making me laugh!

Yeah, when I first looked at it - it was going for 9K and the Buy it Now price is still about 7K lower than KBB value so I was curious. The distance is definitely the deciding "no" factor.

Thanks for the input guys!
