Which seals inner or outer?

THe ones that attach to the inside of the axle housing are not hard to do.

The other ones require you to press off the wheel bearing, put the new seal in and press the bearing/retainer back on.

Might i recommend the marlin heavy duty seals.

Well to be honest I'm not sure yet. I've have some oil coming through on the left side for a while now. Good to know that the outters require a press. Thanks for the quick reply.
on a side note I realized how long it's been since I've been on the board when my sig still said 160k miles

LOL.

Okay well the one attached to the axle ( i think that is the "outer seal" )

I had to replace it on our 99 4runner and it wasn't hard, i used a loner seal instaler kit from autozone though. Worked good that way.
