Ready For Summer

Just finished cleaning up the kids & getting them ready for the summer. Its amazing how much better they look w/ a coat of wax & some tire dressing. Now all I need is a trail & a windy road so the fun can begin.

Yeah when I was cleaning the Taco I noticed how chipped up my fender flares had become. I guess I'll be pulling them as well & painting them.

What do you all think maybe Satin Black?

But it's so much fun to get them dirty.

My old '95 4Runner after some fun & the Taco after a day at work.

I use Zymol on my car & Meguiars Mirror Glaze Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26 on the Taco & my wife's car. If it has been a while like it was for mine I would also recommend using the Meguiars Mirror Glaze Heavy Cut or Medium Cut Cleaner after you wash it. I use a small 6" buffer I p/u at Wal-Mart & it works great for applying the cleaner & the wax & I always remove them w/ a towel.

Thanks, Very good eye, not to many people would know that. It is the 8th Saab now between my wife & I & my 2nd SPG. This one is a '90 that I have been working on for a few years now.

Do you own one yourself?

No, I've just always had an appreciation for them.

I'm a BMW guy: http://www.e30tech.com/featured/mtriple/

Sweet ride, Looks like you & I do very similar things w/ our cars. What track do you run at? I have a couple friends who run all over the place in the NASA events.

I wish I had a web site to direct you to.

I've always built mine for performance & at the same time for showing them. I've won 2 Nat'l Saab meets & finished 2nd twice w/ my previous cars. This one I haven?t introduced to the Saab public just yet.
