Plastic trim restorer results

I know many of you with the SR5 plastic fender flares and bumper trim and any other plastic have problems keeping them "black" and I've tested Eagle One WET trim restorer and Stoner's Trim shine and one other I can't rember right now and none of those came close to the shine and longevity of Mother's Back-to-Black. The Mother's product made the flares look new again and did a great job on the front bumper trim. You do need to apply it liberally and rub it in but the results were the best I'd seen but I was mostly impressed with the fact that over a month later and sitting out on mostly sunny days the Mother's stuff was still looking "black";I definetly recommend this stuff.

Cool. I have the Mothers polish for my wheels which is great but I have never tryed that stuff. Does it work on tires too? My snow tires are all brown, even after using armorall.

No,it's not for tires;I use Meguires Endurance Tire Gel (it's smells like grapes too) and that stuff while isn't the glossiest (which I didn't need) it does seem to last the longest and even through a few wet weather storms.

On the interior I mostly just wipe the plastic down with Simple Green of all things since it's not corrosive and cleans without a gaudy shine;I also use Meguire's Natural Shine trim protectant every other month but I just stick with the Simple Green since I'm not fond of overuse of those protectants since I think it coats your dash/plastic over time and traps dirt more than repels it.

And thanks to my detailing spree over the weekend we are getting ONE freakin' day of wet rainy/snowy weather and then it's back in the 60s the rest of the week.
