Performance Head

ANyone have any experience with the Street/RV head from engnbldr.com? It it really worth the price? I currently am headless since I have a big crack in the one I have now and am looking for something to replace it. While I'm at it, I'm going do a full rebuild and rejuvinate my tired 22re with parts from engnbldr.

I'll sell you a rebuildable core and give you better specs than whatever engineblbr wants. I used them on my rebuild and was pretty unimpressed with their tech and general customer service.

edit: it was maddog not engnbldr that i was displeased with. the offer still stands though, also ebay seems to have em on there every once in a while.

I had mine done and am very impressed with them and the service. They are some of the best guys to work with and do quality work. Totally worth the money.

I have a Engnbldr Street RV head on my rebuilt 22re.I also had a LCE EFI head that I sold with my truck.I find performance wise no better than each other except the price. The RV head has better casting of the water passages .I would buy another head from Engnbldr.

It seems like everything I have heard about engnbldr has been top notch. Anyone else have any other suggestions as to what to do.

sefus- I will keep you in mind about the head. How much would you be looking to get for it?

Blackulua- Do you think it was worth the money for the Street RV head?

I heard that you can get performance head on the street corner downtown for about $50.....

Ok I know that was bad, just couldn't help myself.

yea Ive just got a spare from my original 86 re sitting around, be glad to be able to help out. plus i did sooo much freakin research on best valve sizes with cam profiles for different outcomes... thats what i mean by helping with the specs. just a few bucks and shipping let me know if you need it.

Engnbldr is actually the one company i was pretty happy with now that ive looked through a few old emails.
