PCV location/Seafoam treatment on a Lexus?

I want to do the same Seafoam treatment on my fiance's Lexus GS300 that I did on my 4Runner, but I don't know where the PCV is located or what it looks like. Are there certain vacuum lines that I could trace to find it? Would I use the same method on her car as our 4Runners? Later.

Matt

On my 4Runner (22RE) I just used the vacuum purge line from the charcoal cannister. It was easy to get to, small enough to be able to modulate the uptake of the Seafoam and was at the inlet to the intake. I would think the PCV valve hose would suck on way too much liquid at once and the hose from it to the intake is too short to use anyway.

I am a newb, what line exactly did you use on your purge line? I would like to do the treatment to my 4Runner(22RE).

Um, like the purge line is the purge line, denoted with a "P" on the throttle body and I added a "P" on the other end at the charcoal cannister:

You don't need to use the PCV hose only, any vacuum hose going directly to the intake will work fine (the closer to the throttle body, the better......just make sure it is after the throttle plate). Just pull off an intake vacuum line with the engine running and if you put a finger over it and feel vacuum, you can use it.

Remember to run some in the gastank first and then into the engine after (running 1 can per 1/4 tank of gas minimizes any possible fouling issues.....try to run at least 2 cans in 1/2 tank of gas through before putting it directly into the engine).

Two reasons I chose not to use the PCV hose was #1 it is too short to fit into the can and #2 it would be too hard to control the flow of the Seafoam, since it such a large diameter tube. I even found the small 3mm ID purge line would suck in too much Seafoam at a time unless I regulated the flow.

you dont stick any vacuum hose in the seafoam! you tilt the can of seafoam and let the vacuum hose suck it out that way and have a rag for it bc it can get messy.. but dont stick the hose in the can

I just stuck a funnel in the PCV hose and poured it in at a drizzle - pretty simple.
