Paint to match fenderflares?

My fenderflares are currently as they came (black). Ive seen some runners with paint to match flares and thought it looked OK. What are your opinions?

You know how I voted.

Plus if you are up camping and you forget your shaving mirror at home, you can use the flares to shave with

There are a few 2nd gens with them painted.
Look on Lee's site.

Hmmm,I'm getting ready to do flares and I do like the glossy black instead of just painting them body color. I got some deciding to do.

Eventually I'm going to get some and have them color matched. But then again I know i'm not going to be out scratching them up off road, so perhaps yours would be better left black.

Just my opinion.

Talking Black

Paying someone else to paint is a waste of good mod money IMO. If you can paint them yourself or get someone else to do it for free, go for it. Otherwise, leave them black and spend the money on something else. I kinda prefer black anyway, I don't know why...

Black. You'll have that "rugged & lifted" looked.

I still like the idea of glossy black or maybe gunmetal grey instead of flat black;I have a friend who can do 'em cheap so it might be worth it to be different.

Ok,with the flares do you need to order the rubber sealing strips separatly and if yes, what fits? Can you get OEM from Toyota to fit the bill?
