I just got done installing a 4crawler 1.5" body lift on my 2000 tacoma and (almost) everything went well, and it looks awesome now! thanks for the quality parts. However, I do have a few suggestions to make your kits even better. In addition to the lift, I ordered the heavy duty hardware... It was kind of a pain that the bolts for the radiator and the bolts for the cab were different threads; if possible please unify this. I also ordered the front bumper raising brackets. The bolts holding these on were large hex key bolts and it would be much easier if they were standard hex-head machine screws. Other than those 2 things, everything else came out great.

Yes..., as long as you've posted the same over there as people frequent his site as well who utilize the same lift and I believe that he's even got a suggestion option there.

On the bolt threads, it is hard to get the same pitch on bolts, especially when it comes to long bolts and Grade 8 bolts. I try to always use fine thread similar to stock (they are stronger), but in some cases, only coarse thread are available. And it is the Tacoma that has the drastically different bolt lengths and thus is more prone to this issue. If you could elaborate on the "pain" caused by the different thread pitches, perhaps I could better understand the problem.
On the bumper brackets, I do use hex head cap screws on the taller brackets, but at the lower heights, you need to be able to fit the bracket flush to the frame and on some models/years, the only way to do that is with the flat head screws. You could always swap the bolts if you had a situation where the bolt heads are clear of the frame.

I do put the mating nuts on the bolts when I ship them just to prevent any cross threading. Sorry you had those issues, I'll make a note of this in the installation instructions (updated instructions have been uploaded to the web site). My supplier is slowly adding to their long bolt selection, used to be only Grade 8 NC was offered, recently they added Grade 5 NC and slowly the NF threaded bolts are available longer lengths. As they are I try to replace my stock with fine thread but until every size and grade bolt is available in fine thread, this can be an issue.
It is never a good idea to not force a nut on a bolt. If it will not go on with your fingers, something is wrong. That is why I pre-thread nuts on all the bolts I ship, if a nut will not go on a bolt, it is discarded and replaced with another one that will.
I'll make a note of the bumper bracket bolts on the 1.5" and taller brackets and go with those in the future. The only way I know of things like that is if folks provide feedback like this. Nobody has ever mentioned this in the 4+ years the Tacoma kits have been shipping.
