Yeah, I meant readily, was just wondering if one of the stores I mentioned above stocks a good supply of ngk's because I dont have a kragen. I know a couple of places always have bosch platinums but Id prefer the ngk's.

I can't say how they work in the 3.4 or 2.4, but the single-ground bosch work well in my 3.0...and have for the past 100K+. I still get about 18.6 mpg also. They'll get replaced this year.

I've gotten mine from Advanced in Mobile and in Auburn they've always had them. I went to the dealer the first time and they sold me the wrong ones. SpringHill Toyota in case you were wondering. I don't deal with those jackasses unless I have too. Go to Advanced. They weren't anymore there either.

Try having a look though the phone book/business directory for a local auto electrical supplies store,These are the places that garages go to for these things, they only sell auto electrical bits & pieces, like distributor's ,wires & plugs etc.
Every city/large town will have one. There is no need to go to glossy auto accesories stores.

I got my Denso "U" grooves from Autozone for something like $1.60 ea and they are great in the 3.0

I think Taylor Automotive is a great place for lots of these OEM or better quality, hard-to-locate-locally parts.....like plug wires.

Autozone didn't even have Bosh wires for the 3.0 in stock or online (special order only??) and they wanted $55 + tax to order them for me....

meh...I went with NGK Blue silicone wires from Taylor Automotive for 33 bucks delivered! I picked up some Brembo discs from them as well for about 47 bucks each.

Nothing but love for them

Yeah Spring hill Toyota sucks! I found that napa has the ngk's so I'm gonna go with them, but if they are out Ill check Advanced. I've always had good luck with the ngk's int he past and am going to stick with them.

All Oreilly's and Advance stores should carry them. I was a manager at an Oreilly's and I know its a stocked item. They don't have Oreilly's where I live know, only Advance and others, and all the advance stores I've been to carry them.

I just got new plugs at checker and they'll bin in the truck tomorrow. NGK BKR5EKB-11 with the multi-ground electrode. Bought from checker for like $23/set. There's a sticker on the inside of my hood that specifies that my engine must have twin-ground electrode plugs and it says no platinum.

you know, if you go to the webiste they list a plat and non-plat version of that plug, but the description seems to be saying that they all are platinum. Or am I reading something wrong.
