New Guy Saying Hello

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I stumbled upon this site via search engine. I'm eager to learn a lot. I currently am in the market for a late 80's early 90's Toyota pickup. I want a reliable tough truck, and all signs pointed me to toyotas. I will be sure to read around a lot, and yes I know how to use the search function.

If anyone has any really useful directions to point me in, I would be much obliged. What is fair market value for one of these vehicles? I'm hoping I can find a nice truck for $5k or under. Thanks in advance!

Wow, I am amazed at how well these trucks hold their value. I'll just have to keep an eye out for a smokin deal. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Right on! Welcome aboard. This place is chalk full of usefull info and even better people.

Check the classifieds as mentioned. Seems to be an abundance of trucks these days in that price range. Good luck

I saw a couple. None are within driving distance unfortunately.

Out of curiousity, I've found a couple T100's in the 6k range. Are they good trucks, or would I be better suited with a regular pickup?

My main uses for the truck will be daily driving, and toting my ATV around (Brute Force 750) I won't be wheeling with it much since I have my ATV for that. But I would like something that is capable if needed. I want good gas mileage obviously as well.
