Need help with 90 22re

I have a pickup with the 22re, when I start it up it idles for a few minutes then starts turning off. It will run for about 2 minutes before it cuts off. When I push the gas down about 1/4 of an inch it will rev then drop like its hitting a rev limiter but its only at like 1-2k (no tach). If I push it down any more it will rev up just fine. Once it gets warmed up (about 10-15 mins of driving) it will idle fine most of the time but still cut off occasionally. I replaced my spark plugs and checked the PCV to make sure it had good vaccum and it was fine. Im thinking it might be some kind of air flow sensor or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I checked the vaccum lines to the cylinders (whatever those 4 lines in my intake are) and there is only supposed to be vaccum in line A at idle (according to Hanes manual) but the Vaccum was in the line next to A not A.

Check the timing and the idle speed.

How long has it done it? Is the truck throwing a check engine code?

Its got 143k on it. Its been doing it for about 3 days since I got it back from the shop. The mechanic that was working on it said "I couldnt find anything wrong with it." I just went to the land fill and it got really bad on the way home, cutting off constantly at idle and it is jumping really bad if im not at WOT. Its not giving me any code. I turned the idle screw thing about half of a turn and it didnt help so I turned it back.

Check all your wiring connections, including all injectors. Definatly sounds like something is partly unplugged.

Sounds like the throttle position sensor to me. Good luck.

cap, rotor, fuel filter, spark plug wires, tps, egr, dirty TB with clogged vac ports.
These are somethings to check.

Ok, I cleaned the TB but it didnt help. I cant start the motor without it stalling now. If I dont floor the gas it will not stay running.

Thats gotta be your TPS, either not adjusted properly or just whacked.

My TPS was outta wack, and it didn't throw a check engine code. However when i did check the codes it pulled up a code that the idle position on the TPS wasn't set properly. I would look into the TPS...
