Need to get new headlights... do I trust ebay?

My stock headlight lenses and corner lenses have had it.

I've got dust on the inside of the lenses, and I can't remove the fogging with all the scrubbing and brasso in the world.

I've been looking on ebay, and other parts stores. I keep finding all of these black reflectors, which I can't see working as well as the OEM reflectors.

ebay leneses

Does anyone have these things, how do the work compared to the stock reflectors?

From all the postings I've read on here, the black housing Ebay headlights have horrible beam patterns, and make it hard to see at night.

They look good, and the price is right, however, I wouldn't want to purchase anything that doesn't have at least the same performance as the stock lights.

I'd look for a used set of factory lights.

most, if not all, of the negative reviews on the black headlights were pertaining to the 4runner lights, I have yet to see a review on these, check em out!

I just bought new ones from autozone for 12 bucks a pop and they were the sylvania preformace light, midgrade, not the blue white ones that piss everyone off. Not a big difference for the low beam but a huge difference for the high beams. Look into some of these.

I would second that you get some used OEM headlights. I got some aftermarket replacement lights (not the black reflectors) and the beam pattern was terrible. That is actually what pushed me into doing an HID projector retrofit...
