My newest mod
Total Cost: Cheap!
i bought this 3 accessory plug from radioshack for 5 bucks i think... might have been 10, not sure. anyway
first i wired it to my accessory line.. but it wired it after a 1 amp fuse (XM radio line) accidentally :pat: it worked for my cell charger, but once i hooked up my air compressor to it, it blew. i figured this out, went on a hunt around town for a 1 amp fuse (couldnt find one, even at pep boys and radioshack) so i just grabbed some 2 amp fuses. oh well. then i came back, replaced the fuse, and rewired it before that 1 amp fuse. worked perfectly!
kinda weird though... i plugged in my DC adapter for my new Vectorlite spotlight, and my stereo turned on! it was running off my spotlight battery
i offically hate frys electronics and love radioshack. i walked around frys for 45 minutes trying to find a few parts (inline fuses for blade type fuses, variety pack of connectors, etc) and i couldnt find a damn thing. i asked atleast 5 people, none of them could help me. i left there and went to radioshack, even though i though it would be more expensive. walked in and found everything i need in under 2 minutes. the people inside are awesome!
anyway, its a nice cheap mod.
my next mod will be to put the same device next to it, but hard wire it directly to the battery so it's always active. then switch it so i can turn it on and off, since it has it's on small light in the middle that is on whenever it can provide power

You should see his back seat. Maybe I'll nick-name your Runner what I call mine "Wife's purse".

as for the thing "sticking out" that is my XM radio. its not hooked up to that unit, it's hard wired (the 1 amp fuse). the two things plugged in in that picture are my cell charger and spotlight charger

Dude, a PINK comb???? hahaha...
Flashbacks to the 80's when guys were walking abround with combs in their back pockets....

Still laughing at the comb
I have one just like the image in Corey's write up for full-time outlets. I haven't had the time to put it in though.
Maybe nex week.
Nice install, by the way
