I personally don't understand the fascination with the Intake Silencer Removal (ISR) modification.
Supposedly, removing the Intake Silencer gives you "better throttle response", which gives you the feeling of having more power. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. I can't say for sure.
I don't think it will make much of a difference. Some people like the coolness factor of custom intake plumbing while I like things pretty much how Toyota made them.
