just ordered 33s

Finally... I've got some 33s on the way. And real 33s too, not 33s that acutally measure closer to 32s. I'm upgrading my currently bald 32/11.5-15 Dueler ATs with 33/12.5-15 Firestone Destination MTs. These are the tires I've been drooling over for about 6 months, and they should be here by the end of the week. I know I have to order the ATS arms to prevent rubbing there... and I'll probably need a body lift. I'm hoping to get the ATS arms installed by the end of the month then fit the 33s and see how much clearance I have (or don't have). Hopefully a 1" BL will solve any other rubbing issues I end up with.

Anyways... just wanted to share my excitement. Hopefully they will be on by the end of the month and I can get to Paragon for the June monthly trail ride.

That's awesome Jackson! I almost bought those tires myself until I got a really good deal on my BFG's. That is one sharp looking tire and I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. I'm glad someone is finally gonna try them out. Can't wait to see the pics; good luck with them.

Please give us a review on the Firestone MTs once you break them in. I am thinking about getting those as well.

Thanks

Congrats, Jackson. I know you've been thinking about this for quite a while (obsessing? ). Please do keep us posted on how all the new gear works out.

Well done!

Also hats off for getting real 33's. There is a difference between 33x12.5's and 285's.

Like I said... I'm hoping to have them on by the end of the month (I still need the ATS arms and RB BL, so that will slow things down a bit)... but if all goes well, I'll be at Paragon the first weekend in June, then again the last weekend in June. I should have a good impression of them by then.
