It's gone...

It sold today

8 great years of ownership; it was by far the best and most fun vehicle I have ever owned.

That was quick. Did it go to an off roader?

Unfortunately, no. I don't think this truck will ever see dirt again.

I'm curious about the selling price. Care to tell me how much you sold it for?

$9,300. Not bad for a 151,000 mile, 11 year old vehicle.

Not bad at all. I bought my 94 4cyl ext cab for $7300 and sold it 3 years later for $6500. The value of older toyota trucks...Kinda regretted selling it, but there will be another one in the future.

Yeah, I don't know how Ken cleaned it up that well even though he just took it off road a couple weeks ago.

Off-road? What? This truck has "never been offroad!"

People looking at the truck asked me if it had ever been offroad. Apparently they didn't notice that all the pics on the internet were hosted on off-road.com. When I told them "this thing has been offroad a lot, but never abused," they looked at me in disbelief and still showed some concern that the 4wd may not work due to lack of use.

Engine bay: seriously, all I did was hose off the dust, let it dry and bomb it with no-touch tire spray. The engine never did leak anything, so degreasing it wasn't an issue.

Thanks for the complements. I'll miss this truck. Particularly since the 2000 4Runner I just bought is in the shop already with a major problem.
