i got a case of the squeaks

okay, here's the deal....sometimes, not every time, when i brake from a lot speed (more often a low speed than high i noticed) i hear a squaking sound. can't tell exactly where it's coming from , sounds like the front half of the truck. it varies in length, sometimes real short sometimes a second or two. anyone know what this is exactly? i know it's not the front brake pads, those are new. i'm guessing just needs some oil/lubrication, but who knows.

New pads could still squeek if they are metallic (right?)....

yeah they're metallic...the performance friction kind. but i heard the same squaling before i changed the pads, when they were the stock pads.

i know it's nothing major, but it's just annoying.

Maybe dust in/around calipher? The pads seem like the likely suspect to me, can't think of anything else that could cause it. I wonder if one of your caliphers might be going bad, getting a bit sticky?

Does it want to pull to one side when you hit the breaks?
