Lets ask our local expert...Jim? Jim? Hey, airnissan, what do you think?

I wonder how many teeth that guy cracked when he landed?

That actually is a friend of mine. The damage that day was a serious headache, a broken engine wire and two bent front axle knuckels.
I sold him a new front axle for 500 bucks the next day.

No ramp. Just two plateau's at different hights. About 5-6 feet. He just put it in third, hit the gas and never braked.
The head from his copilot had to be surgecaly removed from his ass because he wasn't wearing his seat belt. :pat:

That 4Runner is "Gibby" on here. He's SAS and although he had some troubles on that run, it sounds like his rig is treating him well now.

The second photo in your lineup is "Wild Bill". A true crazy man.

Do a search on "airnissan.wmv" for video of that jump of Jim's as well as what he did for an encore on that run.

EDIT: Here's the video; http://www.jimbennett.net/THEAIRNISSAN.wmv, at least the beginning of it. He cut off the "encore"

I've got an old Pathfinder that my son drives now. It's been through hell and is still going. Those things are a lot more beefy underneath than my 4Runner. The rear axle looks heavier than the 8.8" ford in my 5.0L Mustang...
