I think if it would they would have said "1997-2002" hood in their advertisement.

That's a great price if it fits correctly. I would be a bit skeptical of a $129 hood.

Besides, when you see the shipping charges you may reconsider. Let us know if you get it.

Yea, keep us posted if you do decide to buy. Sounds like a good deal if the shipping charges are not that bad.

It will fit, but by the time you pay freight you might as wll get a facotry one from Toyota. I checked on shipping on one about six months ago and it was like at least $100. Keep in mind that price is only for the hood and not all the fittings that go inside the bulge.

It will fit, but you may come across some fitting problems while putting it on, it won't be like an OEM hood direct fit. Just wondernig, do you really need all the stuff the scoop when purchasing a the hood?

You don't "need" all of it, but I've heard it will look funny without it because of the holes for the retainer plate and such. I can't say for sure.

I would ask bamachem as he just retrofitted an 01-02 hood with a scoop on a 99.

Yeah, you need the plastic inserts and other pieces to complete is, unless you cut that part out of the hood and roll the edge before painting. The pic on the "Here's Da Scoop" shows you what it looks like without these parts on a 4th...I just got mine on. Just scroll to the bottom of the first pic link.
